While you were toiling away at work this winter, dreaming of your summer vacation, we were busy making significant improvements at Mountain View.

• All of the lodge rooms have been significantly upgraded with new beds, headboards, mattresses, tables & chairs, microwaves and new towels and linens. We have also installed new screen doors on all the rooms.
• On the lawn just outside your room, you will find three picnic areas with two picnic tables. Those picnic areas now overlook the new sand volleyball court.
• We have rebuilt the boat launch ramp for faster, easier use. It is now 24 feet wide and will accommodate two boats at a time.
• We have a pit BBQ and grill area that will be serving delicious food on weekends beginning April 1st through Labor Day weekend (Friday afternoon thru 3 p.m.Sunday). The new expanded menu includes awesome pit-cooked BBQ, deep fried chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage, nachos and anything else our Fatboy chefs can conjure up. It's definitely worth the trip to see what Val, Tommy and Arthur are cooking up. They will not let you leave hungry.
• You fisherman will enjoy the new bass fishing weigh station built with the support and cooperation of the Brownwood Bass Club, Sweetwater Steel and the Arrow Ford Bass Tournament.
• We have expanded the fishing supplies area in our convenience store to include great Bass Pro Shop products! We are proud to carry an inventory of Bass Pro Shop worms, lures, rods and reels and much more. If you can't find what you need, we can easily order any Bass Pro Shop catalog item at a discounted price. Just call or email us for details.
• We have the best inventory of towable tubes for the entire family to enjoy. Airhead, Evolution and Sportstuff are just some of the brands we carry. We also carry lifejackets for adults as well as the hard to find infant and toddler lifejackets.
• One of the biggest additions we've made is the opening of our new boat repair shop. We are operating a full service boat, jetski, Four-Wheeler and a small engine repair shop on the northwest corner of the Mountain View property. We also carry Minnkota, Motorguide trolling motors, Lowrance, Hummingbird depth finders, battery chargers, props and a full line of boating supplies. We can also install any of this equipment for you. The boat repair shop is open every day except Monday.
